Theatre
Seeking to develop theatre artists of the highest quality, the Department of Theatre, through its BA and BFA degree programs, will provide selected students with the training, education, and experiences necessary for the successful pursuit of professional theatre careers in performance, theatre design/technology, stage management, and theatre administration. To develop and graduate student artists who are sensitive, aware, and total human beings by providing our students with conservatory training within the context of a liberal Arts education. A well-rounded education involves and understanding of our place in the universe and insights into the human condition without which it is impossible for artists to interpret dramatic works accurately, sensitively, and artistically.
